Cyanotype Prints

I create cyanotype prints inspired by dreams, Diné culture, and traditional ceremonies. Through this process, I explore the abstract, memory, and spiritual connection.

I had a dream about my late Nali,

she only spoke Navajo,

and for the first time,

I understood - entirely,

I talked Navajo myself,

We had a beautiful conversation,

I felt she was proud,

we walked together out beyond our world,

we walked amongst the stars,

the Holy People witnessed,

I cherish this moment,

She said I can't stay,

In my subconscious I knew I would be with her again,

Awaking stronger, wrapped in her warmth.

Things I Hate

Addiction of kin,

boundaries drawn by greed,

snakes in the form of people,

phobias creeping,

evil seeking to disturb the balance,

water scarcity.
